So I heard of that Marvel was releasing a new X-Men film, but I didn’t think it would be out this soon. Scheduled for release on June 3, 2011 is X-Men First Class. This film features James McAvoy as a young Professor Xavier, and Michael Fassbender as Magneto, as the young X-Men team before the Xavier and Magneto feud. The X-Men team includes Beast (Nicholas Hoult), Emma Frost (January Jones), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) and more. Check out the trailer above for a sneak peak.

Comic Con 2010 Saturday continued to amaze me with many great costumes and many more panels. The day started at the “Spotlight on Brian Bendis” panel which highlighted some great works and answered many questions for many Bendis fans. Moved on to the DC Universe: Event Horizon, that gave some teasers on what’s to come in the DC Universe. Then the Green Lantern: Emerald Empire panel which dropped hints of upcoming Green Lantern projects, with editor, Eddie Berganza, Geoff Johns, Tony Bedard, Joe Prado, and Ivan Reis. We went on to the Digital Color Styles headed by Hi-Fi’s Brian Miller and Kristy Miller. A great panel for those trying to get into the comic industry as a colorist. The remainder of the day served as a shopping and picture capturing moment. Enjoy the pictures below. Read the rest of this entry »
So, I survived my first day (Friday) at Comic-Con. A great day for splurging in the madness of comics and fantasy. The day started off great as I caught up with Olivia Munn from G4TV’s, “Attack of the Show.” Unfortunately nobody was camera ready and we didn’t get a shot of me in a picture. In her own words, “Come on get your sh!t together.” The most down to earth and awesome celebrity I have met. Thanks for stopping to pose with us. On the way in we could not decide on what chaos we would attend to first. I decided to hit the Grant Morrison panel to see what the genius DC Comics writer had to say about his career, and future projects, which had a great turn out. Great panel with loads of feedback from the crowed who loves his work. Grant Morrison is currently the writer in DC’s Batman series and many other titles that I have enjoyed reading.
Afterwords I sneaked down to the exhibition floor through the crowd of fanatics running around like children at a candy store. Loads of comic books, toys, games and costumes filled the exhibition floor. I managed to get some shots of the massive as they posed with groups and fans. Many Star Wars costumes for Star Wars day at Comic-Con, including, Princess Leia, Vader, Jedi Knights, Clone Troopers, X-Wing pilots and so many more. The day breezed by and I didn’t get to walk through all the booths and vendors. Tomorrow the excitement continues with loads more panels and pictures of costumes. With that said, enjoy the pictures and maybe I’ll see you tomorrow at Comic-Con. Read the rest of this entry »
Comic-con has named it’s Friday Star Wars day. Loads of panels dedicated to the Star Wars massive. Panels including, “DK Star Wars: From Banthas to X-Wings”, Hasbro Panel dedicated to Star Wars, “Crafting the Multi-player Story in Star Wars: The Old Republic”, plus loads more. Lucasfilm Animation artists Dave Filoni (supervising director), Joel Aron (CG supervisor), and Kilian Plunkett (lead designer), will have the “Inside the Foce” panel which will be discussing steps in the production of the Star Wars: Clone Wars series. Check out more details on Star Wars panels at Comic-con on the con website or Star Wars website. It’s going to be a blast. Look out for the Comics Addict fliers. Hope to see you there.
